On Little Bay de Noc
Located on the Northern Shores of Lake Michigan in the Central Upper Peninsula, the Little Bay de Noc is an ice fishing paradise. The protected waters of the Bay freeze over sooner than most other spots on the lake and stay frozen much longer on the tail end of the season. The diverse shoreline and bottom contour provide some of the best fishing opportunities in the Midwest.
Known for the trophy Walleye, the Little Bay de Noc also produces massive Northern Pike and plentiful tasty Perch.
Miles of freshwater shoreline with multiple boat launches, public beaches and waterfront parks make getting on the ice easy. Before venturing out on the Ice, it is best to check with local bait shops, fishing guides, or the DNR about ice conditions.
Overlooking Lake Michigan on Little Bay de Noc, the Terrace Bay Hotel is the perfect place to start your ice fishing adventure. Anglers will feel at home with the boat launch on site allowing easy access to the ice as well as an indoor fish cleaning station.
Enjoy a view of the lake from your room or stay on the road side for convenient room-side parking.
